Join Shoe Lane Library and Will Palin for a talk on the landmark project to rejuvenate the Grade I listed North Wing of Bart’s Hospital.

In 2023, the 900th anniversary of St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Heritage will embark on a landmark £9m project to repair, conserve and rejuvenate the Grade I listed North Wing at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, including its celebrated interiors, the Hogarth Stair and Great Hall.

Will Palin was appointed CEO of Bart’s Heritage in 2019, and is an architectural historian, writer, campaigner and heritage expert. He was a curator at Sir John Soane’s Museum, then director of SAVE Britain’s Heritage. Most recently he worked as Conservation Director at the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich where he led the multi-award-winning Painted Hall conservation project.

This event will be delivered both in-person and online. People with in-person tickets will be able to watch Will give his talk at Shoe Lane Library, and those with online tickets will be sent a Zoom link before the event. If you would like to change your ticket type, please get in touch with us directly.
